Wolfie - Equine

Wolfie is an off-track Thoroughbred who raced under his Jockey Club name, Whicked Wolfe. In his racing career, he had 20 starts from 2004-06 with earnings totaling $9,965. Wolfie was born and bred in Virginia by Jack T. Worton. He then went to an owner in WV and was stabled 24/7 except for training and racing. His current owners said that when they purchased him, he wasn’t even sure how to graze or be in a herd. This sweet, old man has come a long way since then. He’s curious, out-going, and confident. He’s also a chow hound and the first one to the barn to get fed with his three mares following closely behind him. Due to his age, Wolfie does have some mild arthritis and his current owners would like to find him a companion only situation to live out his days. Wolfie does crib occasionally, but has no other vices. He loves his stall and gets along well with other horses. They sadly cannot bring their horses with them.
